Complaint about racism in public
Dear Sir,
I am writing to you in order to complain about racism in public as a widespread problem in America. This is a very serious Problem and thousands of people worldwide, including me, will not accept it anymore.
Almost everyday I can read in the newspaper about people, which are treated bad by police officers. Moreover it is well known that especially dark skinned people on the street, in various shops and even more at work are underprivileged.
Today for example I read an article about a woman, who rented a condominium in Euclid, Cleveland. One night, when she wanted to pull into a parking lot, a car alarm went off and a gentleman whose house was faced to that car blamed her for that. Not even thirty minutes later the same man walked to her door and told her, that the whole neighbourhood do not want her to live there. The man talked to her very offensive and insulted her in base of her skin. One month later she moved away because she was very afraid something could happen to her.
I am certain that there are already several campaigns against racism. In addition to that there are also commercials and shows against racism on television, but from my point of view there must be done much more than that. For instance there should be more strict laws enacted with higher punishment.
I would be grateful if something would be done about my complaint and I am looking forward to hear from you.
Yours sincerely
Scott Celvin
